Practicing in medicine since the early 1990s, Dr. Mark Dekutoski has received numerous awards and accolades for his work as an orthopedic surgeon. In 1993, he received the Zimmer Annual Travel Awards - Spine Alternate honor from the American Orthopaedic Association, not long after beginning his career as an orthopedic surgeon. In December 2010, Dekutoski received the third place Mini-manuscript: Clinical Research Award Paper from the Cervical Spine Research Society’s Research Committee, AOSPINE International, for his team’s publication. His team also received a similar award, first place Global Spine Congress Best Paper Award, in 2011. In October 2013, Dekutoski added an additional accolade, the SRS 2013 HIBBS Clinical Award.
